Decatur High School will Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R.) at 9:45 am. (The last 20 minutes of 1st block.)
We will have magazines and paperbacks for last minute reading choices available in the hall outside the library on Friday morning. Of course, library books are always available for check out.
Please encourage your class to participate. Students and teachers, both enjoyed DEAR last year and have asked for a repeat of this event.
DHS Library is also kicking off a Food for Fines campaign which will allow students to pay off their overdue fines and also provide food for needy families.
Each can of food brought in will remove $1 from a student’s library overdue fines. The Food for Fines campaign will run March 2-March 16.
